The mariner of old said to Neptune in a great tempest, "O God! thou mayest
save me if thou wilt, and if thou wilt thou mayest destroy me; but whether
or no, I will steer my rudder true."(Michel de Montaigne (1533-1592))

The Poseidon USB Stack is a software solution that unleashes the
possibilities of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) and the devices with USB
interface, ranging from mice, keyboards, tablets, joysticks, printers,
scanners, webcams, digicams, flash card readers, zip drives, floppy disk
drives, harddisks, memory sticks, ethernet adapters, scanners and audio
adapters to less common things like power supplies, GPS location devices or
finger print readers. It is intended to be a solution for all systems.
Obtaining a keyfile for Poseidon is no longer possible. Poseidon V4.3 is
exclusively available NOW for the E3B boards and shipped with the
DENEB USB 2.0 controller card.
Donations of USB hardware may yield a working driver, if possible and reasonable. Other donations are
welcome using my Amazon Wishlist (DE) or
Amazon Wishlist (UK).
No PayPal available.
Please visit the Highway USB Yahoo
group for support (for all Poseidon users)

I am a design chauvinist. I believe that good design is magical and not
to be lightly tinkered with. The difference between a great design and a
lousy one is in the meshing of the thousand details that either fit or
don't, and the spirit of the passionate intellect that has tied them
together, or tried. That's why programming-- or buying software-- on the
basis of "lists of features" is a doomed and misguided effort. The features
can be thrown together, as in a garbage can, or carefully laid together and
interwoven in elegant unification, as in APL, or the Forth language, or the
game of chess. (Ted Nelson)

Any great work of art... revives and readapts time and space, and
the measure of its success is the extent to which it makes you an
inhabitant of that world -- the extent to which it invites you in
and lets you breathe its strange, special air. (Leonard Bernstein)

We are born to inquire after truth; it belongs to a greater power to
possess it. It is not, as Democritus said, hid in the bottom of the deeps,
but rather elevated to an infinite height in the divine knowledge.
(Michel de Montaigne (1533-1592))
